Kris and I had a nice talk this weekend about our ELDRITCH HORROR Gaming Projects. If you are thinking about upgrading Mansions Of Madness and similarly themed board games like The Others into a more action packed Miniatures Skirmish Game you will likely enjoy listening in on our conversation. SPRING CLEANING AT BBP... LOL!

I decided-had to upgrade my computer this month. My loyal old DELL Inspiron finally died on me after nearly five years of service. My NEW BAMF DELL is a $1,200 beast and I am happy I got her!

Like most good things it cost what it is worth, thus I am going to be paying this baby off over the next six months... so The Collection Diary is going to be more tech and less toys. Actually this new XPS is a BAMF toy.

I had to get busy this month and got much of my Spring Cleaning done to get The Command Corner of The Battle Parlor ready for the new setup which is kinda nice.

Now that have upgraded my tech-joints I will be able to make better videos too, so the future will be a lot more fun. I have a new monitor coming in this week too and once I get that setup I will get back to making Boss Shop Videos.

This was an extra special holiday for me with the release of STAR WARS Episode Seven and all of the cool new toys coming out based on the film. I hope all of my B6*R7 Flyers are having a very happy holiday!

STAR WARS ARMADA: BOSS' WAVE 1 EMOTES!

I spent the weekend playing with some new videos and made a few hours to build all of the ARMADA Wave I ships into ARMADA EMOTES! These images represent my fleets of course, as of a couple weeks ago.
Note there is no Gladiator present... alas but when I placed my order Cool Stuff had sold out of that wonderful little meanie. I will get it in a couple of weeks with Wave II.

I LOVE THESE CUTE LITTLE SPACESHIP-EMOTE-CRITTERS! Dunno why... I just do!

I have started my ARMADA Collection with thirteen ships and thirty six squadrons. I wanted to be able to actually play some full badass games from day one, and also when I dive in,  I go deep... might as well right gang.

I am going to use these rascals in my ARMADA Battle Videos at some point, in the same way that I will use the X-WING icons I made a while back. I like the way some of the better YouTube Star Brothers out there have each ship indicated with it's own icon as it's header. I have seen a lot of the ship I.D. Icons used, but I wanted to do a bit more than a silhouette... it is all in good fun, and dammit I like to play!.

SCUM HOT RODS & WAVES 7 & 8 CHARACTER MINIATURES UNBOXING!

I got a few new models for some upcoming projects this week. I am going to start work on some crazy SCUM Hot Rods, to add some badass options that I feel S&V is lacking. I love SCUM because they are so perfectly suited to making special fun stuff like this.

I am going to get back to work on my little 30MM Miniatures too. I plan to get the crew of The Ghost done before the forthcoming expansion is released. Might be fun!

Ho, Ho... this month's toys came in on the early tip... just in time for the holiday weekend, very nice!

WORKING ON VIDEO LAYOUT...

I am working on getting some nice BATTLE PARLOR videos going. Unlike the hangouts which turned out to be horrible, these will be videos produced in house where I can take my time and make some decent episodes.

The cute little X-WING Emoticons I made last week are going to serve as identification icons in my videos. You know how a lot of You-tubers will have the forces presented in the borders of their videos right, well I am doing the same thing. Each ship will have it's stats laid out nice and neat and they will all have one of my cute little icons too... cause!

BATTLE VIDEO TEST HANGOUT 1.5

So Lee and I got together and attempted to run our first G+ Hangout Battle. Sadly (comically) the results after two hours of trying to adjust the video and sound on G+Plus are a Big MEH!

I knew that Google hangouts had issues but I also thought that you could adjust the quality while hosting an event by adjusting your camera settings during a live stream. Nope. Google only allows you to make general changes and then they compress the streamed video until it looks and sounds terrible.

Unless I can make some changes via other options for streaming events, the group battles here at the parlor are not going to happen. I plan to start making some cool video battles too, but now that we have tried this out I can see that I need to get my lighting setup much better first.

I am going to be working on ALL of this over the coming weeks...
